Wednesday 3rd of December

Chrissy: Today it was hard to get up. Ate a big breakfast and went to Okazaki Castle with all the ladies of the household (and Charles and Riku-chan). I kept dozing off in the car. Okazaki park was very beautiful. We had fun walking around, feeding fish and exploring the castle. We bought ice-creams from a seedy-smelling foody touristy shop. Tasted fairly bad and I started feeling awful. We looked around the museum which had some fun Samurai costumes.

For lunch we went to a sushi-train where I was very hot and didn't feel like eating. Charles didn't eat much either. Emi and her Mum took us home and ordered me to sleep. I did and felt a bit better afterwards. The 3 of us went for a walk to a 100yen shop up the street. Charles enjoyed visiting a games shop called Famicom Center and we had an awkward look around a Manga Kissa (private manga library and coffee shop). We went to a DVD rental place to try to rent the movie Hana Yori Dango Finaru but they had all been borrowed! (It's a brand new release). We rented High School Musical instead which provided light entertainment for the evening.
